Shop Intern

SUMMARY

The position of a Shop Intern requires a person who can follow direction and perform physical tasks.  This is a temporary position, and can either be called on for an as-needed basis when additional hands are needed to handle the shop workload, or set on a regular schedule for a limited time.  This person will be under the leadership of the Shop Department Lead they are assigned to on the day of work.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Physical ability to load & unload trucks
  • Basic technical knowledge (able to identify types of equipment, cables, etc)
  • Basic repair knowledge (cables, replacing speakers, lamps, etc)

 

EVERYDAY SUCCESS SKILLS

Should be timely.  Prompt arrival is very important.

    • The intern must regularly lift and/or move up to 50  pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds with assistance.
